Sony Ericsson z800i

May 10th, 2005

Another 3G tri-band GSM mobile video phone: Sony Ericsson z800i. The z800 has been around for a while from Vodafone but z800i is available to a much wider selection of carriers.

Sony Ericsson z800i The phone can be had for about $3,000HK from 3-3G HK. It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 4x digital zoom that takes still images and video. Its 5MB user memory should be sufficient for storing anybody’s contact list. For added storage, the Z800i uses Sony’s Memory Stick to add up to 1GB memory (a 64MB stick is included accessory). Other features are prettystandard now among those 3G phones (such as LG 8330, Sanyo S103 and Sharp sx813). It is not easy to get these great 3G phones in the US but if you happen to get one the good news is that they all support UTMS and GPRS. So you should be able to experience some 2G speed.

Another cool image of the Sony Ericsson z800i.
