MobiTV Launches on Rogers Wireless

MobiTV is going to be available to Rogers Wireless customers in Canada, which will include news, sports and entertainment programming from the carrier’s mobile Internet service as well as live content of the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball team.

MobiTV Phones Other channels are expected to be announced to the line-up in coming weeks. The service will be offered initially for $9 a month plus data subscriptions of $10 to $15 a month. Subscribers can purchase and download the offering directly over their handsets (Nokia 6620 initially). Details at

Cingular Wireless L.L.C., Midwest Wireless and Sprint PCS offer MobiTV service in the United States. MobiTV for Cingular is available on Nokia 6620, Motorola V180, V220, RAZR V3, V400, V500, V600, Sony Ericsson z500. Unfortunately my Sony Ericsson is not supported.
